Workplace designers at the WorkBooth and Logitech event in Dubai

WorkBooth and Logitech Connect with Dubai’s Workplace Design Community

On 23 September, WorkBooth joined Logitech and 20 workplace designers at Logitech’s Dubai Internet City office for a session organised by Love That Design. The event put our acoustic pods in front of the professionals who plan offices, choose their materials and shape how people experience them.

For WorkBooth, it was a chance to present our approach to privacy and connected work directly to the design community. With demonstrations ranging from individual focus spaces to larger meeting environments, the session looked at how office interiors and collaboration technology can work together.

An Audience with Real Workplace Design Experience

The audience is what made the event so relevant. We connected with designers who spend their days balancing a client's visual identity with practical needs for concentration, communication and comfort.

That hands-on experience made them ideal for a discussion about office pods. When they work on corporate interiors, they have to consider how a private workspace fits the wider floor plan, how it supports different activities and how its finishes tie in with the surrounding space.

The Dubai session gave them a way to explore those considerations through real products and demonstrations.

Presenting WorkBooth to the Design Community

Eugen Kaufman, WorkBooth's Founder and CEO, introduced the brand and how it has grown since 2019, including its German Design Award 2022 win in the office furniture category.

Our part of the session focused on a familiar office challenge: making room for private conversations and focused work in a shared environment. Acoustic pods give people a dedicated space for both, and they become part of the office interior at the same time.

For designers, picking the right pod comes down to several connected decisions:

  • Where the layout needs privacy.
  • Who the space is for: one person, a conversation between colleagues or a small team.
  • How ventilation and lighting keep it comfortable.
  • Which video meeting and booking tools the space needs.

The demonstrations tied these planning decisions to the technology people use every working day.

Bringing Private Space and Video Collaboration Together

WorkBooth’s collaboration with Logitech connects the physical booth with equipment for calls, meetings and scheduling.

The session showed how Logitech cameras and audio devices can be incorporated into pod configurations. Logitech Tap Scheduler adds a visible booking interface, helping employees find an available space and reserve it for a meeting.

Our WorkBooth and Logitech integration options support individual work and small-group meetings. WorkBooth Two and Four also offer mounting options for a 32-inch screen.

When designers plan these elements together, they can think through the whole meeting experience: the enclosure, the equipment and how people get into the space.

A Wider View of the Connected Office

The program also covered Logitech solutions for larger collaboration spaces, including Sight, Rally Bar and Rally Board 65.

Together, the stations showed how private pods fit into the broader workplace. An employee might need a quiet enclosure for one call and a larger shared room for the next meeting. In both settings, it matters what people in the office can see and hear, and so does the experience of colleagues joining remotely.

Elza Ovsyannikova, Cluster Category Manager GCC+ at Logitech, linked everyday ergonomics to the space planning that interior designers do. That connection tied the whole session together, across different room sizes and types of work.

Continuing the Conversation with Designers

A big thank you to Love That Design, the Logitech team and all the designers who joined us in Dubai.

Meeting the people behind workplace projects gives us a chance to talk about how acoustic privacy, interior design and collaboration tools can all support the same brief. For WorkBooth, conversations like these are a big part of building our relationships with the architecture and design community.
