Questions and answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How soundproof are office pods?
WorkBooth booths have been tested under ISO 11957:2010-01 and consistently achieved an A-class rating.
Will I be able to hear noise from outside while inside the pod?
You can't hear user voice from outside and any outside noice is below whisper level inside. Inside WorkBooth you'll hear a calm ambient murmur — enough to stay grounded, not enough to distract. Office conversations and noise from outside are reduced to below the threshold of intelligibility.
Are office pods 100% soundproof?
No pod is 100% soundproof, and any brand claiming otherwise is misleading you. What WorkBooth guarantees is Class A (ISO 23351-1) speech privacy — your conversations stay confidential, and office noise outside stays outside.
What acoustic standard / certification do your pods have?
WorkBooth holds Class A (ISO 23351-1) certification — tested on the complete pod unit, not just wall components. TÜV is one of the world's most respected independent testing bodies. That means the result you see in the spec sheet is the result you get in your office.
How is ventilation handled inside the pod?
WorkBooth delivers a full air refresh every 29 seconds — that's over 120 air changes per hour, more than 10× the industry standard. After each visitor, the ventilation system runs a dedicated purge cycle for 3 minutes to clear CO₂ and ensure the next person walks into genuinely fresh air. No stuffy pods. No post-meeting headaches.
In real-life office tests conducted by procurement teams, our booths outperformed competitors. You can't hear user voice from outside and any outside noice is below whisper level inside.
Will I feel hot or stuffy inside the pod?
Stuffiness is one of the most common complaints about competitor pods — and the reason WorkBooth engineered ventilation as a primary differentiator, not an afterthought. With air fully refreshed every 29 seconds and a post-session purge cycle, the climate inside WorkBooth stays consistently comfortable, even during back-to-back bookings.
Does the pod have CO₂ monitoring or air quality control?
WorkBooth's smart ventilation system is engineered around real occupancy — not a fixed timer. The system responds to presence and session length, actively managing air quality. The post-exit purge cycle ensures CO₂ and stale air are fully cleared before the next user enters.

How many pods do I need for my office?
Start with this rule of thumb: 1 WorkBooth One per 8–12 employees for call-heavy environments, 1 per 15–20 for general open offices.
WorkBooth's usage statistics feature shows you real occupancy data — so after the first 2–4 weeks you'll know exactly whether you need more. Our team also provides pre-purchase space planning as part of the sales process.
Can the pods be moved or relocated?
WorkBooth pods are designed for real-world office flexibility. All models could be integrated with casters for repositioning within the same floor. For multi-floor or office moves, pods disassemble into manageable modules. We provide a relocation guide, and our install network covers major markets globally.
Do pods require a sprinkler system?
All WorkBooth models include an integrated sprinkler knockout. Our documentation specifies exactly what's needed per jurisdiction, and we support your facilities team through the installation process.
Does the pod need a dedicated power connection?
WorkBooth plugs into a standard 110-120V wall outlet — no hardwiring, no electrician, no disruption. The pod's smart systems (lighting, ventilation, weight sensor, usage logging) all run off this single connection. Power cord length: 3 m standard and 5m for preorder.

The WorkBooth dashboard which we will release soon will show facility managers peak usage times, idle periods, and cross-pod utilisation. Integration with workplace analytics and provide an opprtunity to adjust all settings of operation modes remotely.
Can I customise the pod's colours and finishes?
WorkBooth is fully customisable: exterior and interior felt from a curated palette, branding of the door for logo and identity, all wooden surfaces color options or replacement of veneer with HPL plastic. You configure exactly what works for your office — not a catalogue shortlist. Lead time for custom orders: 10-12 weeks.
Can the pod include custom branding?
Brand customisation is a core WorkBooth capability. Exterior panels, glass frosting, door signage, interior accents — all can carry your brand identity. WorkBooth pods in client-facing areas serve as a brand statement as much as a workspace.
Are pods suitable for open-plan offices aesthetically?
WorkBooth is designed to be a centrepiece of a well-considered office, not something you hide in a corner. Clean lines, premium material choices, and full colour customisation mean WorkBooth enhances the aesthetic of any high-specification workplace.
